Community Care
in Action

Our Food Pantry & Mutual Aid initiative is built on a simple belief: access to food is a basic human right. Every month, we organize community food distributions to provide fresh groceries and essential supplies to families.

But our work doesn’t stop there. We operate with a mutual aid approach — meaning that whenever someone comes to us in need, we do our best to respond immediately. Whether it’s a family facing unexpected hardship or a newcomer navigating a new environment, we step in with care, compassion, and resources.

This program is powered by community support, volunteers, and partnerships — creating a network of care that extends far beyond a single event.

Volunteers supporting families

“From January to today, our food pantry has served over 4,000 neighbors — and this is exactly how we are fighting food insecurity, one family at a time.”

Through the generous support of our donors, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, and volunteers who show up every single time, we have been able to put fresh food in the hands of families who need it most. No questions. No barriers. Just community showing up for community.

If you know someone who needs food support, please send them our way. We are always here, and no one should ever have to go without. To every donor, every volunteer, every partner — we could not do this without you. Your generosity is feeding our community, and it means everything.

Together, we are stronger. 🌿
