About the Event

World Refugee Day was established by the United Nations in 2000. Since then, LORI has brought the celebration to Baton Rouge through storytelling, cultural performances, and community engagement.

This year’s event showcases art, food, and music from across the globe — celebrating diversity and the refugee spirit.
