Voter’s Campaign

VOTERS CAMPAIGN

We believe everyone has a voice to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have sought refuge in our state and can help create a more inclusive and welcoming community for all. Our goal is to empower and advocate for refugees and immigrants in Louisiana, ensuring that their voices are heard and their rights are protected.

Through our Voters Campaign, we work to increase civic engagement among refugees and immigrants and to provide them with the tools and resources they need to participate fully in the democratic process.

Voter Campaign Focus Area:

  • Assisting with Registration and mobilization: Help eligible refugees and immigrants register to vote and encourage them to participate in local, state, and national elections. By increasing voter turnout within these communities, we can ensure that their concerns and priorities are represented in the political decision-making process.
  • Educating and Empowering Voters: Outreach and educational initiatives are conducted to inform our community about their rights as voters, the voting process, and the importance of civic engagement. By empowering individuals with knowledge, we can help them become active participants in our democracy.
  • Advocate for Policy Change: Collaborating with policymakers and community leaders to advocate for policies that support the integration and well-being of refugees and immigrants in our community. By amplifying the voices of these communities, we work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
  • Building Community Links: Fostering partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community groups to create a network of support for refugees and immigrants. By building strong community ties, we can create a more welcoming environment for newcomers to Louisiana.

Join us in our mission to empower refugees and immigrants through civic engagement. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have chosen Louisiana as their new home.

Get involved today and be a part of the change!
